Q:I just found out Im pregnant..yay
and want to do whatever I can to avoid stretch marks. I know its also genetic. My mom got them with her pregnancies and I got some on my thighs and breast when I was 15 years old, so Im pretty sure Im prone to this. Anyone out there, who thought they would inherit stretch mark but was sucessful using creams or oils? What brand worked for you?
A:I have tried almost every kind of lotion, cremes, oils, shea body washes available. spent so much money on them and Im covered in stretch marks, ive been told that your skin will stretch no matter what if you just have that type of skin,,, (if that makes any sence) but all those things could work for you.goodluck
A:Use Johnson and johnson baby lotion.. apply generously to the stomach every night before you sleep…This is to give moisture and soften the skin at the stomach to allow it to stretch without give it stretch marks…
A:i have been rubbing Vitamin E oil on my calfs because when i was tweleve i went to visit family, and lets just say i didnt need that much junk food.
So i lost weight and my friend told me about how she used that and hers faded nearly completely away.
A:Coco butter!! I gained 52 lbs. with my son and not one stretch mark (on the spots that I used it on)!!
A:Ive never got rid of mine Bio oil has NO clinical effect. If it did work then it would have to either burn the layer of skin or promote new skin cells. If this worked then it would be prescription only.
A:No, its not bad it just means that youre growing. When I had my baby I got a lot of stretch marks and I used stretch marks cream. It can be pretty pricey but its worth it. Try some of the cream and apply it everyday when you get up and when you go to sleep and you don’t have to apply a lot.
A:There is no lotion or cream on the market that will stop you from getting more stretch marks. Unfortunately it’s just another joy of pregnancy. I use Palmer’s Belly Butter and cocoa butter lotion. It keeps my belly from itching. But it has not made any stretch marks go away (which I don’t expect it to).
